Description
Adapted by Ken Ludwig, from earlier works by B. Hecht & C. MacArthur and of C.B. Milholland
It’s 1933… facing bankruptcy and with his career on the downslide, egomaniac stage director, Oscar Jaffe, boards the Twentieth Century Limited. Former chorus-girl, Lily Garland, now a temperamental Hollywood star, gets on the train in Chicago. If Jaffe can convince Lily to return to Broadway in his show – that light at the end of the tunnel may not be another train!
